VereType-E™
VereType-E™ Detection Kit is a multiplex PCR/microarray-based Research Use Only (RUO) test. This nucleic acid-based test is intended for qualitative detection, differentiation and identification of multiple food-borne pathogens in a single test.
One or more of the following targets can be identified:
Escherichia. coli O157:H7
non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) serogroups
O26
O45
O103
O111
O121
O145
Salmonella spp.
The virulence genes targeted for E.coli analysis are:
eae (intimin)
eae gamma
stx (Shiga-like toxins)
ehxA (enterohemolysin)
This test is for use in conjunction with the VerePLEX™ Biosystem.
